However, The Idea Activators are unusual, so it works!

Before I go any further, let me just say that this truly is an incredible time in human history.

This post/idea was actually inspired from a story I read and heard about from David, about Jill Sobule from http://jillsnextrecord.com/ who raised over $80,000 to create her next CD by selling copies of her CD, backstage passes to her concerts, autographs, t-shirts, and even offered to let someone sing on a song with her for a certain price! It’s an incredible concept.

I decided to adopt one similar here.

When I first read that quote a few months back, it landed in my noggin, but didn’t really affect me much. Perhaps it was because I wasn’t ready to adopt it for my Life.

Here’s what it means to me…

Since we’re all energy and we’re all abundant by Nature, then it only seems to make sense that we can never run out of energy. If that’s the case, then we can give as much energy as we want and never run out!

We know so many people who we admire that are abundantly energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate. Whenever they talk, we feel ourselves drawn in by them. They seem to have a magic power.

You know what? They do!

They are using the magical power of enthusiasm!

From personal experience, I realize that I have not been the most enthusiastic person I could be. It might be because of the fear of criticism (embarrassment) that has kept me from fully expressing myself. However, if I’m going to do anything worthwhile, then doesn’t it make sense that I go for it fully?

And if that means fully expressing myself, being fully enthusiastic, and making a few other people uncomfortable by my powerful energy, isn’t it worth it if I’m going to be benefiting the world??

“Act enthusiastic and you will be enthusiastic.” - Normal Vincent Peale

I read that quote from him a couple of times, one of which was in his book ‘Enthusiasm Makes The Difference’

It’s a fantastic quote that I now choose to adopt and make more of a habit.

You see, last night I was reflecting on the Life I’ve been desiring for myself. Then, I realized that while I may get excited when the ideas flow, but I don’t usually express that enthusiasm to other people.

It is clearly a habit of holding back. There is nothing wrong with my enthusiasm gene. ; )

I think I can recall the experience that may have kept me from fully expressing myself. So now that I’m aware of that, I can fully accept it and move forward with a new choice in Life. Here it is…

I am so happy and grateful NOW that I am More Enthusiastic Than Ever Before!!

This will be an affirmation for me. I will write it down and I will also feel it. Remember “Act enthusiastic and you will become enthusiasitc”? Yes!

So I’m going to enthusiastically delcare Today as being #EnthusedThurs (on Twitter) and dedicate time today to building the habit of being more enthusiastic.

If anyone has benefitted from enthusiasm and knows it’s powers, please post a comment below this post to help others who are reading this (and myself) to more fully understand this mysterious power of enthusiasm.

I don’t even think we need something to be enthusiastic about to begin with. No matter where we are, we can Feel Enthusiastic Now! It’s simply a state of being,  a vibration, and since we control our state of being, we can become enthusiastic at any given moment. (seen The Value of Worry yet?)

And now I’m going to dedicate myself to cultivating the habit of enthusiasm. That seems like a wonderful intention that will benefit myself and everyone in this world tremendously.

Now, isn’t THAT something worth dedicating time each day to cultivating?

So, no more embarrassment. Believe me, I’ve been embarrassed before and I’m still here. (I’m telling you and me at the same time. :D)

I’ll tell you this. I/you/we are only going to be embarrassed IF we don’t have control of our mind and we don’t have an intention.

I just experienced this a few days back. When I don’t have an intention for a situation, I simply go blank and then the embarrassment begins!

So, I also use this opportunity to form the daily habit of strengthening my mind.

When you mix a strong mind with enthusiasm, you’re going to be a growing and shining more and more each day and it’s going to be such a wonderful experience for you, and also for the people around you, for you will be giving them part of your enthusiasm.

The Idea Activators

Today, I’m here to discuss the topic of America’s economy, the recession we’re in, and the way I’ve observed people talking about it. Here’s what I have observed…

Companies like AIG, among many others, seem to have adopted the mindset of lack and scarcity. The reason I say this is because when you hoard money, steal money, or deceive people to get money, you believe that there isn’t enough money to go around.

Yes, you’re hearing me right. Even with a multi-billion dollar company, some people still don’t see the abundance around them. In fact, I’d say most people don’t realize the abundance around them. I sometimes have to stop and remind myself of this truth. Let me tell you, it is ALWAYS refreshing to be reminded of the abundance of this world…and this country.

The other day, I overheard a statement that seems to have been said alot over the past few months. I heard somebody on CNN or MSNBC say something like, “This country (America) won’t recover from this recession for another year.”

While I understand what they were saying, from an economic standpoint, I simply must bring awareness to the lack of information they may be working with. You see, it may take a year for America’s economy to recover, based on what we know and use at this moment. But many people still don’t seem to realize the power of the collective mind…aka The People of America.

We obviously now see there’s a connection between the mind and body. That should already be established and understood in everyone’s consciousness. We must now make another statement and that statement is that, “What we focus on, expands” This is even a psychologically proven fact.

So, when we are being shown “news” that says, “It will take at least a year for America to recover from this recession,” I can only jump to the conclusion that they aren’t aware of everything this country has to offer; such as the power of the people and the power of intention.

You see, people are basically good. However, we often have lazy minds and simply absorb and believe what we see on TV, hear on the radio, and hear from the people around us. What does this mean? This means that when an authority figure on TV says, “it’s going to take a year,” many people will believe that. However, where’s the hope for the next year?

Are we to simply sit back and wollow in our misery for the next 12 months? I think not.

Instead of taking an informative stand on this subject, I’d like to see the TV networks reaching out to the people (through social media, which has been a great connector so far), for solutions, but only after adopting the mindset that miracles are possible. And intentions are truly powerful.

When this can be adopted (and it doesn’t take much to do so), we can begin to see the light in the eyes of Americans again.

Imagine hearing CNN talking about “The creative spark of the American people” and how people are joining together, locally, to bring about new creative solutions to the country’s problems.

Imagine the news channels, telling us that 2009 is going to be one of the best year’s in America’s recent histroy. Imagine that! Don’t you think, after they have a few authority figures on their shows, talking about this possibilitiy, that people will start to feel hopful and inspired? I mean, like I said before, people will absorb information from an authoritative person. So why not give them something to live for?!

Let’s give the people hope. like President Barack Obama said, “We Are The People We’ve Been Waiting For”

Why wait a year to let the government, politicains, and corporations “fix these problems”?

Why don’t we join together and raise this country up from the valley like never before?!

Now is the time to join together, begin to understand the power of our minds, as well as the power of the collective mind of America, and begin to rebuild this country to incredible new heights in 12 months or less. You can quote me on that one.

So I say this country needs a miracle, but how do we know this miracle hasn’t occurred already?

I have a feeling some very smart people in this country already have the solution to this country’s problems. And I’ll take it one step further and say if we can unite these smart people, through the Internet and social media, I truly believe we can create a powerful MasterMind group (Just like almost every successful person has done before) and not only come up with the innovative and breakthrough solutions, but also taking inspired action to get it done and to test the results.

The point here is we should be looking at What Works vs What Doesn’t Work

As far as I can tell, news stations telling people how bad things are doesn’t help the situation. This is my bid for the positive, inspriational side of the news. THATS what I’m interested in hearing about!

So hear me now, The Miracle Has Occurred. The Solutions are Here. We simply need to be open to them, have inspiration from the “authorities” that give us the news, and work together to bring these wonderful solutions to life.

When I think about what God is to me, I think to myself, “What a wonderful world.” haha ok I just heard someone sing that yesterday. couldn’t resist ; )

But seriously, I see/hear/feel God To Be The Great Allow-ance and by that I mean God Allows Us to Do What We Choose!

Yes, our outside circumstances might sometimes seem to show the opposite of that. However, judge not by appearances. Your mind is truly yours to take control of, to do what you choose to do with.

The beautiful part about this is that Awareness of Mind = Beginning of Freedom (& Joy,Happiness,Abundance,etc : )

So where were we?

Oh yes, (too much ‘multi-tasking’ has my attention skipping ; ) (But i &hearts it! : )

Anywho!

God = The Great Allowance

Since we have control of our mind, we have control of our thoughts, we have control of our actions, and we really do have control over our State of Being. yadig?

Life/God Gives Us Such Beautiful Freedom to See & Experience The Joy and Beauty of Life/God Itself!

Do you see the divinity in this?

That’s the message I wanted to get out here today.

For the other ADD type folks, I put a simple equation here for us to dig with. ; )

Allow-ance = Freedom = Life = God = Joy = Love = yadig?

I was just thinking about it now and an unusual thought came into my mind.

That thought was, “Are We Afraid to Give More?”

The comment related to being selfish. However, I understand the difference between selfish (egoic) and self-ish (know thy self), so I really wansn’t bothered by it.

The point I’m making here is bigger than that.

I was questioning the world as a whole.

“Are we afraid to give more?”

“Do we feel that when we give something to another, that we lose it ourselves?”

Can you honestly tell yourself that when you give something to another that you truly lose it?

No, we can’t honestly believe that, simply because the truth is that we are all one, so what I give to you, I’m really giving to myself.

(In fact, the thing I’m giving you and you and I are the same too! But that’s a whole other discussion.

Neale Donald Walsch helped me to realize this truth in his books, Conversations with God. Those books helped me realize that when I open the door for you, I’m really opening the door for me…simply because “there’s no one else in the room”.

So when I say, “Are We Afraid to Give More?” I’m merely reflecting on our own mis-perceptions to see if some people will wake up and see what’s really going on with ourselves.

The truth is that We Are All One!

So why not give as much as we can?!

I mean, why wouldn’t I want myself to have everything I wanted?!

PLUS, when I give you something, I feel better too!…so it’s a win/win/win!

My friend and I just gave a Taco Bell drive-thru service guy a $10 tip last night…simply because he gave us good service! And I feel that when you really understand the concept that We Are All One, then you will begin to see people in a new way and treat them in a new way.

You will look with compassion at the people whom you see as not living up to their true potential.

You will be inspired by the people who are overcoming obstacles to get to where they truly want to be.

“Are We Afraid to Give More” is a statement that I’d like us to adopt, for the simple fact that an apparently awakening statement like that can have such a beneficial impact on our society as a whole.

I hereby, challenge you to give more, seeing other people as simply other versions of yourself (Your Self).

If you see somebody working hard and providing great service, show them you appreciate their work and give them a generous tip.

(Remember the golden rule? Wouldn’t you want someone to show you appreciation like that if you were the one working so hard and providing such great value?)

I truly believe that when we come together and continue to see each other as simply being different, wonderful versions of our One True Self, then we will begin to bring about more peace, prosperity, joy, generosity, abundance and love than we have ever experienced in these past few years.

Use this blog post as a reminder for yourself (Your Self).

It’s a reminder that says, “I Am One with This World”

“I Am Here To Give Great Service to The Human Race”

“I Am Here to Promote Peace!”

Haha now don’t get me wrong. Love is a beautiful thing. Love is Life. However, I feel that so many people are either watering down the meaning of the word Love or they just have a misperception of what it means.

So Here’s My Solution!

Instead of saying the routine, “I Love You” how about saying “You Bring Me Joy!”

You see, Joy is one of those words that is close to Truth, Love, God, and Life. However, in my mind, it has not been watered down or misperceived.

When someone says the word Joy, people can instantly understand that feeling.

However, with the word Love, many people already have strong mental associations, which may hinder them from receiving the wonderful benefits of Love and Life.

So here’s what we can do…

When talking with someone that you care about, someone you would say “I love you” to, instead, say “You bring me joy,” when they do.

When you see their smile and the sparkle in their eyes that you fell in love with, simply look into their eyes and say, “You bring me joy!” : D

Can you notice the difference in vibes?

By saying something “out of the ordinary”, you will catch the person off guard and your compliment will land even deeper and have an even greater impact on that other person’s consciousness.

So that is my recommended replacement for the watered down phrase, “I love you”

she says to you as you hold your mobile device and read this text message that you just received.

Now here is a pivotal point in the relationship between you two.

You share your good, warm energy with her and brighten her day a bit. You can even tell that she’s smiling. (Yes, you can tell through a text message : )

However, you don’t have an end result in mind and your persuasion skills aren’t up to par, so she goes her way and you go yours.

The problem here is that she goes back to her old ways and continues the path that brought her such unhappiness in the first place!

You talk with her again a couple days later and she tells you the same thing again.

“I’m not very happy.”

Now, do you have a better experience planned?

This is a story loosely based off an experience I have had.

The story itself isn’t the important part.

The messages contained in the story are.

Here they are:

1. It is CRUCIAL to have a desired outcome…have something to shoot for/go for/achieve. (No matter WHAT you’re doing!)

Vision = Success

Remember that.

2. Persuasion is a skill that allows you to show people the light and help lead them toward it, so that they get out of their destructive, unhappy habits and begin to feel joyous and happy and grateful to be alive.

When you use persuasion in this way, you’re an angel to every person you influence. Dig? : D

3. Don’t wait until the second chance comes. Prepare for it now, so that you’re ready…because that second chance might not come around.

In fact, consider this your wake up call to create your ideal vision, optimize your persuasion skills (enthusiasm), and take advantage of every possible opportunity that you see to bring the world the best YOU that you can be!

I love and appreciate you for reading this, understanding what I’m saying here, and taking the right action now to begin implementing the lessons described in this post that will not only help you get everything you want for yourself, but may also allow you to help everyone around you get what THEY want.
